March Update
Hi and welcome to Running Blind’s website!
Running Blind is a Melbourne based performance company, dedicated to creating political works, which sit somewhere between contemporary performance and visual art.Â
2008 was a very busy one for the company, with four new projects developed, exhibited and performed, with the most recent video installation, What Do You Think About Me? showing at the Meat Market in Nov/Dec to critical acclaim.
What Do You Think About Me? brought together members from Melbourne’s Israeli and Palestinian communities for a series of meetings and interviews, which were then presented as a doco-video installation tracking the process the group went through during the workshops.
Following on from that experience, In 2009 the company’s Artistic Director Sivan Gabrielovich will be flying over to Israel and Palestine for 6 months to attend a series of professional development internships with arts organisations who are dedicated to creating platforms for dialogue between Israelis and Palestinians.
During these internships Sivan will learn how to develop similar working models for young adults, which she will then use to facilitate similar work upon returning to Australia.

Hi,
I first discovered your work with The Cool Room and have been raving on about it since!
I am currently a secondary drama teacher (aren’t all failed actors?) and teaching a unit on migrant drama and wondering if it is possible to get a copy of the script?
On a more relevant note I am looking forward to the next production…
